By far, the Stryke fighter is
the least expensive model in the AeroStar line. However, like the
dual-line sportkites, each Stryke is
still individually hand-crafted, signed and numbered plus features the same
impeccable quality and thoughtful design.
The Stryke is definitely one
of the most tunable and technically sophisticated production fighters on the market
today! First, examine the graceful S-curve profile on the leading edge
along with the sweeping arc on the trailing edge. Both aesthetically
pleasing and aerodynamically efficient.
Then
there is the MicroTune™
feature - an unique system for precisely setting the desired spine bow and sail
tension (see details below).
This feature, along with two separate bridle adjustments points for both pitch
and tracking, enable the Stryke to be easily tuned for beginner through
expert flyers.

Careful construction and modern
materials enable this fighter to last for years, yet incredibly, it weighs no
more than fragile paper models of the same size. This light weight makes
near zero wind flying or catching thermals on calm summer days a reality for experienced
flyers.
If you have never flown a
high performance fighter, you will be amazed at how controllable and fun a single line kite can
be! The Stryke is also a great kite for those
occasions when limited time and
space are available. After adjusting the bow and attaching the flying line,
the kite will be airborne in seconds.
For maximum enjoyment, get a pair of Strykes for some
"friendly" battles with your flying partner. Due to the Stryke's durability
and light pull, this is also a great kite for children. Unlike a stable
single line kite, the spins and
dives of this fighter will keep them entertained for hours!

The MicroTune™ feature is exclusive to the Stryke Fighter. |
This sophisticated system of Spectra tension lines
simultaneously: |
|
1.
Pulls the nose back to add curvature to the spine.
2. Forces the
cross spreader down, thereby increasing lateral sail tension. |
| Best of all, these settings are infinitely adjustable via a
cantilevered arm. In
seconds, you can tailor the Stryke to your personal style and experience
level. After flying, the tension lines can be slackened. This eases
stress on the kite for a longer life and also flattens the sail for
convenient transport. |
