If
your flying could use a shot of adrenaline, then this is your kite!
The Spica Pro has
high acceleration and speed coupled with awesome freestyle trick capabilities. Near pivot spins, excellent balance & recovery from
back flips plus great flic-flacs, yo-yos, cascades, double axels, 540's and 900's (and
much more!) are in this
kite's repertoire.
Yet,
despite the Spica Pro's radical personality, tracking is still very good with
just enough stability to
hold beautiful stalls and side slides - something typically not possible with those
high-aspect "trick only" models.
Further
adding to the Spica Pro's versatility is a wide wind range. Experienced
flyers will have no problem with light breezes down to 3 m.p.h. yet this model is
robust enough to handle winds up to 20 m.p.h. To reduce pull and speed
on high wind days, airbrakes are available as an
optional accessory. These airbrakes can also serve as "training
wheels" while teaching novice flyers in moderate breezes.
And don't overlook the
quality. Let's face it, most 3/4 size kites use inferior materials and
workmanship in an attempt to reduce the cost and target the beginner
market. Not true on the Spica Pro! This kite employs the most expensive
and durable ripstop polyester on the planet in conjunction with the awesome
Easton Hi-Modulus
Graphite spars. Make no mistake, this is an enthusiast's kite for those that appreciate
performance and quality.
Quite
simply, the Spica Pro is an amazing value for an American made custom kite!
