Based on the
highly acclaimed ZeroStar SUL, the AllStar UL is now here!
This kite retains many of the ZeroStar attributes but now with an extended
wind range. In addition, the increase in mass gives added momentum.
This makes performing slack line tricks in moderate breezes much easier.
Instead of
simply throwing in a more robust airframe and calling it a day, many hours of R
& D were spent optimizing this design for the increased weight, stiffness
and stress now imposed on this new kite. To this end, the AllStar
features a revised bridle geometry along with altered spreader dimensions and
placement. In addition, the sail has received some added reinforcements to
handle the increase in the upper wind range.
In
flight, the AllStar is silky smooth with a light pull on the lines. This
kite is incredibly responsive and nimble enabling it to perform crisp 90° punch
turn transitions with amazing speed. The AllStar is also quite adept at
tricks. In particular, this kite is very predictable when performing
pancakes, fades, flic-flacs and 540s. In addition, some of the flattest
axels and helicopters you've ever experienced are easily
accomplished!
In
summary, the wide wind range and versatile flight characteristics make the
AllStar an 'All' around excellent kite for serious recreational flyers or avid
competitors. This
model also has a very distinctive look that will not be mistaken for anything
else on the field.
